# The AI agent

> Chat your way to a scheduled post.

The **Agent** section is a conversation that ends in calendar entries: describe
what you want to go out, and the agent drafts the posts, proposes channels and
times, and schedules on your approval.

## What it can do

* Draft a post, or a week of them, from a brief
* Pick times using each channel's [posting slots](/general/channels/time-slots)
* Tailor wording per platform, respecting their limits and settings

## What it will not do

It does not publish on its own initiative. Everything lands as drafts or
proposals for you to approve — the agent has the same permissions as the
composer, not more.

## Availability

The agent requires the account's AI features to be enabled and consumes plan
credits. When the sidebar has no Agent entry, the feature is not enabled for
your plan or deployment. See [plans](/cloud/plans).
