# The calendar

> Day, week and month views, and moving posts around.

The calendar is the default view and the main way to work.

## Views

**Day**, **week** and **month** from the top right, plus a **list** view when
you want everything as rows rather than a grid.

Week is the usual working view: enough range to see the shape of a week, enough
resolution to see times.

## Filtering

By channel, and by [client group](/general/channels/customers). Filters apply to
the composer's channel list too.

## Moving a post

Drag it. The scheduled time updates immediately.

  Dragging a **published** post changes only Nushir's record of when it went out.
  It does not move anything on the platform.

## Colours

Each channel carries a colour, so a week reads at a glance. Posts in an error
state are marked distinctly — those are the ones to look at.

## Over the API

Listing is always bounded; there is no unbounded fetch:
