# Reddit

> Connecting Reddit, and the rules it enforces.

## Connecting

**Add Channel → Reddit**, approve access on the platform, and you are returned
here. See [connect a channel](/general/channels/connect) for the general flow.

## Worth knowing

Each subreddit sets its own rules. A post the API accepts can still be removed by moderators — that removal is invisible to Nushir, which will still show it as published.

## Posting over the API

Use `reddit` as the channel's `identifier`. The `settings` object this platform
expects is listed in [channel settings](/public-api/channel-settings).
