# YouTube

> Connecting YouTube, and the rules it enforces.

## Connecting

**Add Channel → YouTube**, approve access on the platform, and you are returned

## Worth knowing

A `title` is required. Quota is per project and generous for scheduling but not unlimited.

## Posting over the API

Use `youtube` as the channel's `identifier`. The `settings` object this platform
expects is listed in [channel settings](/public-api/channel-settings).
