Fees are charged at the start of each period and are non-refundable for the
remainder of a period — cancelling stops future charges rather than
returning past ones. The account stays active until the end of what was paid
for.This is the standard position in the terms;
genuine billing errors are the exception.
Charged twice, charged after cancelling, charged the wrong amount — write to
support with the account email and the charge date.
Verified errors are refunded to the original payment method.
A failed charge is retried over several days with email warnings before
anything is suspended — see subscription. Fixing the
card in billing settings during that window avoids any interruption.
Raising a card dispute suspends the account while it is open, as the payment
provider requires. Writing to support first is faster in every case we have
seen.
