Setting it up

Add the feed URL, choose the channels, and choose whether items are queued as drafts or scheduled directly.

Drafts or scheduled

Drafts are the safer default: nothing publishes until a person looks at it. Scheduled is genuinely hands-off, and genuinely publishes whatever the feed produces. Only use it on a feed you control.

Timing

Feeds are polled periodically, not instantly. An item can take some minutes to appear.
A feed that republishes old items, or changes GUIDs, can produce duplicate posts. Check the behaviour on drafts before switching a feed to scheduled.
